Weekend with the Rodgers!

Last weekend Ben, Ashley and Presley Kate came to visit us!  It was so much fun having them here!  While I had high expectations of afternoons at the park and lots of photo ops with the 3 little girls, life just happened and my plan, well... it didn't.  Sweet little PK got sick Friday night and didn't feel so hot over the weekend.  She is such a pumpkin though and was still a sweet little thing...kids are so amazing like that!  The crazy wind and blowing dirt pretty much kept us indoors but that didn't stop us from having fun!  We played games, watched movies (actually, Ashley and I caught up on sleep while the boys watched movies :-) ), caught up on American Idol on the DVR while we made fun of Ben, the Scotty McCreery fanatic ;-) and Ashley introduced us to Blue Bell Butter Crunch ice cream...if you are trying to cut calories DO NOT try it!  It's so good!  Anyway, despite a sick little angel and the blowing dirt, we had a great weekend.  It had been since our New York trip that we got to spend any extended time with Ben and Ashley and we just love being around them!

 

Thanks for coming to see us!  We're looking forward to hanging out again this summer!
