Easter was a little different this year. The weather had been cold all week so that put a damper on our outside activities but it certainly didn't stop us from having a good time. Sammie and Mom cooked us a wonderful Easter lunch so we stuffed our bellies, took a nap and then we just hung out and enjoyed the day. Emmerson hunted eggs in the living room and we were all entertained. Later that day we decorated cookies ... Emmerson did a great job on the sprinkles! Sweet baby Evynn is almost a week old already and she just did a great job of taking it all in. Alan and I enjoyed the day hanging out with our mothers and our girls and were reminded once again of how truly blessed we are!

What fun this was! Emmerson's excitement makes even an indoor Easter Egg hunt a real adventure.
She is such a sweet, sweet little girl. I am amazed how sweet and kind a two year old can be with a brand new baby sister. She never runs short of hugs and kisses for "Baby Evynn". What a absolute joy it is to watch them together.
