Our Trip to Dallas
This weekend we went to Dallas to see the Rodgers side of our family! We had such a good time! Emmerson got to hang out with her sweet cousin Jackson and Uncle Ben even flew in! It was nice to get away and just relax. This was our first trip to Dallas in a while since our Christmas trip was postponed by the big move. Sammie and Rodney had also moved since we had been there so we got to see their new home.
Emmerson did great! It took her just a little while to adjust to a new place but in no time she had made herself at home. It did take her a full day to manage to kick her daddy out of his bed. She slept the first night in the pack-and-play but then realized by the second day that this was no "big girl bed." So...it looks like those days are over and someone is going to have to give up thier space in bed!
I know I always say this but it is so true...the weekend flew by! There is just never enough time and the weekend seems to end too soon. We look forward to seeing everyone again in March for Emmerson's birthday bash!
