Last weekend we made a fun-filled trip to Perryton.
It was kind of weird knowing that this would be our last venture out of town before we become a family of four! Wow! That’s so exciting and hard to imagine at the same time! This pregnancy has flown by! In about a month our sweet little Evynn will be here! We can hardly wait!
On Saturday Dent and Brandy had a baby shower. It was so nice. They got so many sweet little things for Adlee. It was so fun to look at all of their gifts and imagine the tiny little girl that would soon fill the clothes and soft little blankets. It’s going to be so much fun to have 2 little girls so close in age! Who knows! They may show up on the same day. My due date has bounced between the first and the 6th of April and Brandy’s had moved from the middle of the month to the 5th! What is Boba going to do!??! It will be interesting…that’s for sure!
Emmerson discovered a new friend while we were there as well! Susie! That’s what she and Poppa named the rocking horse Mom and Dad got her for Christmas. At Christmas she wasn’t the least bit interested in sitting on it with one of us but this time she decided she was ready and jumped right on! She could actually climb on herself and she rode her like a little cowgirl! Of course this made for some great picture taking too!
Other than that we just took the opportunity to relax, hang out and EAT…A LOT! Alan had requested a menu a week in advance of all our favorites so Mom spent several days cooking and I managed to gain 6 whole pounds in 2 weeks. Ouch! If only they came off as quickly and easily as they go on! J
This week we have been semi-potty training. Emmerson will sit on the potty but isn’t ready to sit still long enough to actually go yet. I have no pictures to include of this but I will have to do that soon. She is the sweetest little thing sitting naked on that potty. She is always eager to take a little sit to earn a sticker for her board! Hopefully we will have progress to post on this topic soon. I know life would be so much easier with one little girl in diapers. We’ll have to see…

I can't wait until we come and see ya'll. Your mother will be in grandmother overload and lovin every minute of it ...come April. Emmerson watch out-you are getting some new playmates!
Emmerson, What a beautiful little doll you are sitting on Susie! We sure are glad you love riding her now! It's amazing how you can get on her all by yourself. (all that playing and climbing at the park with your Daddy!) I think it is especially sweet how you thank Susie for the ride and then give her a kiss.
